Brian Lee
Head Professional
A former amateur international and PGA Member since 2004 our PGA Head Professional Brian Lee has a long established background as a player, coach, custom fitter and in more recent years significant managerial skills.
The Brian Lee Pro Shop has a superb array of golfing equipment and apparel to suit the needs and style of all golfers. A visit to his shop is a must when visiting St Mellons where you will find a knowledgeable and friendly team only happy to help find you the right equipment. Brian and his team’s primary goal will be to provide all with a first class service that will help to enhance your golfing experience.
James Lewis
PGA TRAINEE
I have been a member of St Mellons golf club since the age of 14 with my family being members for over 50 years. I am currently in the 1st year of the PGA training programme, enjoying developing my coaching and custom fitting skills under the programme and Head Professional Brian Lee. This opportunity is the perfect mix for me combining my love for golf, helping people develop in sport and St Mellons Golf club, where I hope to gain my full PGA qualification and work for years to come.
Marc Gonzalez
Community Golf Coach
I have been playing golf for over 20 years, starting at Peterstone Lakes Golf Club before moving to Newport Golf Club, where I represented the club in team golf and developed a strong passion for the game. After taking some time away from golf to focus on family life, my enthusiasm was reignited when my eldest son took up the sport. This renewed connection to golf inspired me to become more actively involved in the game once again. I have recently qualified as a Community Golf Instructor (CGI) and now dedicate my time to supporting New2Golf and junior coaching programmes at St Mellons Golf Club. My aim is to create an enjoyable, inclusive, and encouraging environment where new and young players can develop their skills and confidence in the game.
