He became a Golf Professional in 2013 and is a level 2 qualified PGA coach.

Since becoming a professional golfer Toby has accumulated some 30 PGA wins including the Welsh National PGA Championship. He enjoyed getting through to the final stage of European Tour Qualifying School 2018 where we achieved Challenge Tour status.

Tom is our resident Assistant Golf Professional here @St.Mellons, South Wales.

Tom had a very successful junior amateur career, where he represented Wales at -14,-16 and -18 levels before moving on to become a golf professional aged 18.He then completed his PGA training here at St Mellons, as Barry Thomas’s (St.Mellons former Head Golf Professional) assistant, becoming a fully qualified PGA Professional in 2009.

He is passionate about helping golfers of all abilities improve, particularly those new to the game. He will be offering beginner group lessons to ladies (including the New to Golf Scheme) and juniors throughout the summer as well as individual tuition.
